Mobile Sauna
SaltSaun.NW builds lightweight, towable Himalayan, salt-lined cedar saunas. These beautiful cedar saunas come ready to steam. No assembly or electrician is required. In addition, each of our Himalayan salt-lined saunas comes mounted on an off-road, highway-speed-capable trailer base. Our salt saunas can be enjoyed at home or on the go. They warm up quickly and are ready for you to enjoy in minutes!

Size
Our 6x8 towable salt-lined cedar saunas can accommodate 4-5 adults. 6x12 fits approximately 8 people. Our saunas only weigh from 1,100 lbs to 1660 lbs (depending on the model) making them towable with almost any vehicle with a hitch. 6x8 weights 1,100 lbs. 6x12 weighs 1,660 lbs. All model interior ceiling height at its highest point is 6’8” . All model total exterior height from ground to ceiling is 8’10” They are easily movable by hand. The walls, floors, and furniture are made with locally sourced Northwest cedar. The interior is warmly backlit with a Himalayan salt course, fully adjustable to the color and brightness you desire. Each SaltSaun.NW towable sauna comes with a cheerfully lit covered porch with two bench seats to cool off after a relaxing steam.

Heating
We offer two heat options, plug-in electric and off-grid wood stove:
Our plug-in model is heated with a 3kw 110v plug-in electric heater. It comes ready to steam and simply plugs in with a regular extension cord. No special wiring is required, but a 20 amp plug is recommended for higher efficiency. Sauna stones can be placed in the heating elements so water can be poured on for steam therapy.
Our off-grid model comes with a small wood stove equipped with a rock basket for steam therapy. The stove is placed on a tile hearth and surrounded with heat sync for fire safety. No electric hookup is required. The lights are powered with a 35amp deep cycle battery, and a 100-watt rooftop solar panel recharges the battery during daylight hours. We are now offering the option of a Harvia Wood Burning Stove for a 6 x 12 SaltSaun.NW model.
Heating gets to approximately 100 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Electric vs. Wood Stove
SALTSAUN 110V ELECTRIC HEATED PLUG-AND-PLAY SAUNA:
Convenience: Simply plug and play – no need to buy wood, clean the stove, or maintain a fire.
Ease of Use: Heats up quickly with just a turn of a switch and maintains a consistent temperature of your choosing.
Plug and Play: No special electrical hookup is required; plug into a regular home extension cord and start steaming.
Heat Time: Takes a bit longer to reach ideal temperatures compared to wood saunas.
Cold Performance: May not reach the same high temperatures as our wood-fired model in extremely cold outside conditions.
Power Requirements: Off-grid usage requires a high amp 110v plug-in to heat the sauna.
SALTSAUN WOOD-FIRED MOBILE SAUNA:
Quick Heating: Heats up rapidly and can be used anywhere.
Maintenance: Requires more maintenance, including stockpiling wood, lighting/stoking flames during use, and cleaning the stove after each session.

Buying
Each comes on a fully insurable ODOT-approved street-legal utility trailer with a VIN and certificate of origin. In Oregon, you are not required to register a trailer of this size and weight but check with your state for compliance.
The price for either electric or wood stove 6 x 8 model starts at $9,999.
The price for 6 x 12 for either electric or wood stove starts at $15,000.
Our current lead time is 60 days. A 50% deposit is required to start production, with the balance to be paid at pick-up.
All sales, construction, and delivery take place at our facility here in beautiful Bend, Oregon.

Renting
Book a rental for private steaming! Tow to your home, a lake, a private party, a company event, or into the woods for ultimate healing and relaxation. Only wood stove models available for rent.
